The Challenge

A luxury home gym with zero room for compromise

  • The client wanted a basement gym that looked as good as it performed. Premium flooring, high-end equipment, seamless integration with the home's existing design, every detail had to be right. The space needed to support strength training, cardio, and functional workouts for the whole family. On top of that, permitting and inspections added complexity that most vendors would have stumbled on. The client needed one team that could handle all of it, from subfloor specs to final install, without excuses.

Our Solution

Flooring first. Every detail placed with intention.

We started with the flooring, premium interlocking rubber tiles that complemented the home's aesthetic and met functional demands. From there, every element was designed around how the family actually trains. Mirrors lined one wall. A wall-mounted TV was installed for on-demand workouts. Dumbbells, a Muscle D All-in-One, and cardio equipment were positioned to keep the center open for lifting and core work. We coordinated contractors, managed permitting, handled inspections, and kept the client informed every step of the way.

HOW WE DO IT

Design & Space Planning: Basement mapped and zoned — strength, cardio, and functional areas designed to flow naturally from the hallway into the gym.

Flooring & Subfloor Prep: Premium rubber flooring installed over proper subfloor specs, built to handle heavy equipment and look clean doing it.

Equipment Sourcing & Placement: Muscle D All-in-One, dumbbells, cardio equipment, mirrors, and TV, all sourced and placed for function and finish.

Permits, Inspections & Handover: Permitting and inspections handled in full. Delivered on time, on budget, and up to code with no surprises on handover day.

Final Outcome

The client got exactly what they asked for, a high-end gym that works as hard as it looks good. Delivered on time, on budget, and up to code despite permitting and inspection hurdles.

We coordinated contractors and decorators to make sure every detail landed right, mirrors, flooring, equipment placement, all of it cohesive and functional. The family now has a space built for serious training that fits seamlessly into their home.
